Mod-EFI Fuel & Ignition Modifier  

At Last ! - A realistic soloution to tuning fuel injected engines. Mod-EFI is an additional ECU which works alongside your Standard EFI system, allowing changes to be made to both fuel and ignition very quickly and easily.

The system has 2 tables one for fuel and one for ignition.

With the Mod-EFI maps set to zero the system works transparently with no changes being made. All diagnostic, immobiliser and cold start functions work as normal.

You can then adjust Fuel and ignition only where needed to obtain the best performance from your engine in the minimum amount of time. 

How does it work ?

Ignition - By reading in the crank signal we can then recreate this signal and send it back out with either  more or less  advance. Ignition timing can be changed by + or - 15 degrees.

Fuel - The throttle signal is read in to the Mod-EFI unit, modified and then sent back out to the std ECU. i.e. the engine is running lean at 5000 rpm with half throttle, we read in the throttle voltage (2.5 volts) we can then send out 2.7 volts the std system thinks it is at a higher throttle position and gives the engine more fuel !

What happens if we are at full throttle and the engine is lean ? - We raise the fuel pressure and then lean the rest of the map by reducing the throttle voltage.

The whole mapping should take no longer than a std re-jetting session on a rolling road.

Suitable for both turbo and normally aspirated engines

With Only 4 plugs being connected to the vehicles Std. wiring loom the system can be fitted or removed in minutes without complicated wiring.

  Especially suited to vehicles that have been modified or cannot be 'chipped' in the normal way

  Available for most makes of vehicles - Car & Motorcycle engines up to 15,000 rpm!
